It was a normal Sunday morning in Florham Park when the mishappening took place. With the Jets starting their first open practice sessions, their plans were halted when two veterans went out in an unceremonious manner. First up, linebacker Quincy Williams went out of the field when positioned at pass coverage. However, the grimace exceeded when taking a Tyler Conklin catch, and Williams went out of the stadium with trainers.
Next up, was the left guard Lake Tomlinson who has a history of injuries. Though nothing of great proportions transpired, the ever-smiling Tomlinson left the field. The left guard left the team drills midway and opted out of the practice sessions. Problems have increased for the Jets with their well-performing offense and defense players meeting with injuries. Robert Saleh maintained an optimistic frame of mind. He remarked, “All indications look good. We?re just going to get more evaluation on them,”. Now, with two recent signings Jets will look forward to getting their campaign on track.
