It’s no secret that Joe Rogan is a martial arts superfan. Whether it’s MMA, Muay Thai, or submission grappling, the renowned commentator, podcast host, and media personality appreciates all forms of world-class combat sports. In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, he spoke about his love for ONE Championship and the unique product the organization brings to the table.

While discussing some of the world’s top MMA promotions with his guest, UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley, Rogan gushed: “The wildest thing is ONE FC…”
With ONE’s unique rule set that allows knees to the head of a grounded opponent and judges to decide an MMA result based on the whole performance a fighter puts in, it makes sense that Rogan loves what the organization is doing.
Joe Rogan lauded ONE Championships’ overall quality and expansion plans
But beyond the one-of-a-kind rule set, Rogan also recognizes that ONE’s roster is made up of top-of-the-food-chain fighters. He explained: “There’s guys over there that are f****** elite, elite.”
Indeed, ONE Championship has given fans of quality martial arts–just like Rogan–plenty to enjoy this year, staging massive fight cards every month in 2022. In August, the organization hosted ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II, the first show on the streaming giant to broadcast live to primetime audiences in North America, which marked a new chapter in ONE’s rapid and global expansion.
A World Title rematch between all-time MMA GOAT Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Brazilian superstar Adriano Moraes headlined that card and ended with a sensational knockout, enthralling fans worldwide.

First, on December 2 in U.S. primetime, ONE on Prime Video 5: De Ridder vs. Malykhin will feature three thrilling World Title fights in three different disciplines, showcasing the depth of ONE’s unique roster of ultra-skilled martial artists.
In the main event, undefeated two-division king Reinier de Ridder will put his ONE Light Heavyweight World Title on the line against ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion Anatoly Malykhin in the biggest test of “The Dutch Knight’s” career.
