Danielle Kelly wants to pave the way for the women’s sport, chiefly women’s grappling. The JRE podcast host and a renowned name in the MMA space, Joe Rogan, inspired the 26-year-old to do so with his recent announcement as the former Fear Factor host joined hands with the ADCC World Championship.

The veteran MMA analyst considers Gordon Ryan ‘the greatest Jiujitsu player’ in the world. Therefore, he is sponsoring the Jiujitsu practitioner’s whole ADCC World Championship. In addition, Rogan‘s JRE podcast is a sponsor for the ADCC World Championship.
In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports’ Arunaditya Aima, Jiujitsu prodigy Danielle Kelly talked about how the number one podcast host’s involvement will be imperative to the sport of grappling.

The 26-year-old said, “It’s definitely motivating.” She also expressed that grappling has a long way to reach sports like boxing and MMA.
“But it’s very motivating that someone such a big name is like such, you know, has a lot of credentials, and they are sponsoring the number one grappler in the world.”
Kelly spoke about how impactful Rogan’s role could be on Jiujitsu. She said, “You know, it’s showing that jiujitsu is taking the right turn as well for sponsorships in the future.”
Taking inspiration from the former Fear Factor host, she concluded, “I hope to be in that position. Hopefully, very soon. Especially just paving the doors for women’s sports, especially for sponsors. So, I would love to be the first to do that, be the first name.”

ONE Championship celebrated its 10 successful years with a magnificent show, ONE X. The promotion has only grown in these 10 years. It proved critics wrong and turned from a small Asian-based martial arts promotion to an enormous giant in Martial arts.

Even a vastly respected MMA personality, Joe Rogan, admired the high-level competition in ONE Championship. Rogan mentioned how multi-time World Champions, Eddie Alvarez, and Demetrious Johnson had a tough inside ONE Circle.
Rogan said, “You [ONE Championship athletes] are showing the whole world, like, ‘hey, these guys [from other promotions] that are coming over here that are world-class fighters, they are fighting world-class fighters [in one championship].’”
