In tough times the community stands together to face a tragic incident. All rivalries set aside, the fighters show a tremendous amount of respect for each other. Recently, ONE Championship atomweight champion Angela Lee gave the world terrible news. She broke out the news of her sister, Victoria Lee’s passing at the age of 18. Victoria Lee was the next in line in the Lee family to take the path of MMA and possibly become a future champion. MMA fighters from ONE championship and UFC have come together to pay their respects to the Lee family.

MMA community reacts to Angela Lee’s loss

The ONE Championship fighter posted a photo of her sister. Along with the photo, she wrote a caption for her late sister. Lee shared her heartbreaking moment with her fans while also paying respect to her late sister Victoria Lee. Just like her sister, Victoria Lee was also an MMA fighter, having made her debut in February 2021.

Moreover, the comment section on ‘Untoppable’s post saw some MMA stars paying their condolences to the Lee family. UFC fighter Max Holloway commented, “Sending love to the family”. Similarly, Miesha Tate had some heartwarming words for Lee. She wrote, Omg I am so sorry Angela…. There are no words but please know my family and I’m sure the community beyond sends you all the love and prayers we can at this extremely difficult time.”

UFC champion Valentina Shevchenko wrote, “My deepest condolences for you and your family Angela”. While former UFC champion Henry Cejudo commented, “We pray for your family and loved one. Condolences to the family”

Demetrious Johnson also paid respect to his fellow One Championship fighter. Furthermore, the fans saw, reigning One Championship flyweight champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon comment, “My condolences too, I didn’t even think about it”.

Moreover, One championship fighter Nat Jaroonsak wrote,  “So sorry for you loss. Rest in Peace Victoria”. American MMA fighter Rachael Ostovich wrote, “Prayers and condolences to Lee Ohana. We love you guys!!!”

Similarly, the fans also saw Alexa Grasso, comment in support of Lee. He commented, “Im so sorry for your loss! My sincerest condolences”.

Victoria Lee was the youngest sister to MMA fighters Angela Lee and Christian Lee. She followed in the footsteps of her siblings in taking up being an MMA fighter as her career.

Victoria Lee made her debut in February 2021 in One Championship. She won all three matches she competed in. Moreover, she even finished all her opponents inside the octagon. Victoria Lee made her prowess in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu as a purple belt holder.
