Anatoly Malykhin and Petr Yan had a surprise for the boxing coach
Though both warriors come from a wrestling background, their skills in the striking department have been one of the most crucial factors in their rapid success.
And they have Tiger Muay Thai’s Head Boxing Coach John Hutchinson to thank for their dangerous stand-up game.
The former WBF Australasian Super Middleweight World Champion has worked closely with both stars through multiple training camps, shaping Malykhin and his compatriot into born and bred strikers.

As a sign of gratitude for his tireless works, “Sladkiy” and “No Mercy” surprised the Irish coach with a brand new 2022 Ford Ranger after one of his boxing sessions.
The surprise gift from Malykhin and Yan mesmerized the boxing coach
Hutchinson, who earned the nickname “The Buncrana Banger” during his boxing journey, was clearly touched by the kind gesture.
He uploaded not one but two posts of himself posing with his new set of wheels on Instagram yesterday.

“Today is a crazy day. So thankful for everything in life. @petr_yan @anmalykhin BEST OF THE BEST LETS GO,” the first caption read.
In the second post, Hutchinson jokingly reminded them that despite the kind act, both stars would face punishment if they ever came in late for their morning boxing sessions.

“I’m not the best with Instagram photos. But this is more like it. 50 burpees if late in morning LETS GO GUYS BELT TIME. @anmalykhin @petr_yan So grateful.”
Evidently, the coach knows there is unfinished business for his two talented Russian students, especially “Sladkiy.”

Malykhin is waiting on a shot to unify his interim heavyweight gold against divisional king Arjan “Singh” Bhullar.
A unification battle between the pair was initially set for ONE 161 on September 29, but Bhullar had to withdraw due to an injury.

Following the announcement, Malykhin wasted no time taking a dig at the World Champion for bowing out, sharing a news clipping with a chicken emoji on the face of the Indian martial artist.

Hutchinson even commented on that Instagram post, describing “Singh” as the biggest chicken of a champion in history.
