Fans reacted to Akiyama calling out Jungkook

BTS has a global fan base. Also, their fans are loyal to the stars. Consequently, a professional MMA fighter calling out their beloved star made them anxious.

“Omg help not official athletes liking his posts, praising him and wanting to sparr with him. Hide my baby,” wrote one fan.

Another fan rejected Akiyama’s proposal and suggested, “Jungkook boxing only for his daily routine exercise.”

However, one fan wants Akiyama to go easy on Junkook if he wants to spar, “As long as you won’t hurt our boy and just a friendly sparring.”

Whereas some fans suggested they would be down only if Jungkook wants the sparring as well. “Oh I’d love to see a friendly match only if kookie wants to. I feel like he’d be shy at first but he’d enjoy it nonetheless and the tannies would be like “heh you fought a MMA fighter wow you’re crazy dude” then proceed to act all injured when he pushes them even slightly.” – one fan wrote.

Many other fans reacted as well, and either refused Akiyama’s proposal or wanted a light sparring session. Although, some showed high interest in watching this unique contest.

Yoshihiro Akiyama showed he still has lethal hands

The 46-year-old recently had an impressive outing in a grudge match against fellow Japanese star Shinya Aoki at the Home of Martial Arts, ONE Championship. Though initially, the veteran fighter struggled as Aoki put the bout on the ground in the first round, he bounced back in the second round and landed ferocious blows to get his hand raised.

Also, his brilliant performance at ONE X saw ‘Sexyama’ receive an additional $50 thousand bonus from ONE Championship’s founder and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Thus, a sparring contest with Akiyama would be a tough challenge for Jungkook. And since his trainer is also a supporter of the martial arts legend, perhaps he can arrange friendly sparring with the two.
