Both Alaverdi Ramazanov & Capitan Petchyindee took no time to get into the action as both showed aggressive intent as soon as the bell rang. Even before the contest, the referee had to ask twice to get them tough the gloves.
Ramazanov used his height to a great extent and found some long-distance shots. Besides, he closed the distance intelligently in the first round. Petchyindee also found success as he landed shots when the Russian was moving back.
In the second round, Capitan started with brutal leg kicks after corners’ advice. But yet again the 27-year-old used his reach to land some of his own shots too.
The Petchyindee Kingdom athlete secured the clinch and did some damage. However, in the center of ONE Circle, he faced issues as the Russian used his feet to move away from dangerous attacks coming from Petchyindee.
The elbows at the end of the second shifted the bout towards the 27-year-old Ramazanov.
Capitan Petchyindee came strong in the third round and put the Russian fighter on the back foot. But the Thai fighter was on his knees right at the end of the round, whether it was a knockdown or slip was cleared with the replays. But anyhow, Ramazanov showed he left it all inside the Circle to go to a split decision win.
