Rodtang Jitmuangnon is, without a doubt, one of the deadliest fighters in the division. This Friday, June 7, ‘The Iron Man’ will face one of the toughest rivals in Denis Puric. The pair has already engaged in a lot of social media brawls and threats. However, it seems Rodtang is unfazed by the challenges ahead of him.

The clash will take place in the flyweight kickboxing matchup at ONE 167. Puric is riding high on confidence and has won his last two fights. However, it seems that the humble superstar Rodtang means business when he faces him on June 7.

The Thai Star, Rodtang has been out of action for quite some time now. He will be returning to the ONE Circle this year and is desperate to make a statement. The 26-year-old’s last fight ended in a loss after flyweight kickboxing king The Kicking Machine’ Superlek Kiatmoo9 defeated him at ONE Friday Night 34. However, it now seems that the 26-year-old has moved on from his loss and is focusing on his next opponent. In a recent press conference with ONE, a reporter asked him, “Puric says that he’s going to knock you out. Just how dangerous is Denis Puric in your opinion?”

The Thai superstar is generally a very soft-spoken individual. However, this time round the 26-year-old made sure he replied to the claim. With a smile on his face Rodtang said, “Everyone got their own opinion, and everyone thinks that they can win in their own way, but the only absolute answer to this we will see in the Circle this Saturday”. The 26-year-old has been currently struggling with his form at the moment. Despite losing his previous fight, Rodtang does have the ability to cause an upset. 

Rodtang is famous for his ability to devise a proper game plan for his opponents. This will be key to his victory as he prepares to take on Denis Puric. In one of his recent interviews, he shared his exact game plan before his much-awaited clash.

The 26-year-old Thai star is known for his dynamic style of fighting and his supreme conditioning. However, being a student of the game, Rodtang is constantly improving his arsenal. In a recent interview, he shared how he was focusing on himself and not on his opponent. He said, “I never think that I had an advantage over anyone. I just want to do my best in every fight. Everyone has talent and strength. I never underestimate my opponent. They’re all good. I need to do my homework as best I can.” 

He then shifted his focus towards his opponent who is fresh off the victories in his last two fights. Rodtang was quick to identify his strengths and said, “Denis’ strengths are that he can get in and out quickly. And he is a heavy hitter, good at countering with punches, kicks, and knees. His weakness is that he seems to run out of gas at the end of the round. And his weak body will be a good target for me.”
