Like most combat sports fans, Mikey “Darth Rigatoni” Musumeci’s eyes will be glued to the screen when Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes renew their rivalry in the main event of ONE Fight Night 10 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, on Friday, May 5.

Their ONE Flyweight World Title trilogy bout, set to headline ONE Championship’s first-ever live event in North America, interests the ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, he has been campaigning for a submission-only battle with divisional king Johnson for some time now.

There has been no confirmation on that battle, but both parties have expressed interest in sharing the Circle at some point, so the heated tussle will give him another chance to observe the MMA GOAT’s skill set.

However, a matchup with “Mighty Mouse” isn’t the only thing on Musumeci’s agenda.

Mikey Musumeci eyes a big fight in Brazil

In a recent interview with ONE, “Darth Rigatoni” hinted that he’d love to pursue a similar battle against Moraes

Musumeci said:

“He’s a black belt in jiu-jitsu also, and he actually requested to have a match with me multiple times. So, I think we should just do it in Brazil.

While he’s interested in gaining first-hand experience of both stars’ ground skills, “Darth Rigatoni” will settle for seeing them put on a show when their World Title rubber match goes down in May.

But once the dust has settled on their rivalry, fans could see either or both men swapping their 4oz gloves for rashguards in order to take on Musumeci inside the Circle.
