Seksan's wife predicts his head kick—Is she his secret weapon in the ring?

Muay Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang, known for his thrilling catchweight battles, is gearing up for the next challenge against the #5 ranked in the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai division, Liam Harrison. They are set to face off in a catchweight Muay Thai bout (140 lbs) at the upcoming ONE 168: Denver event, marking the promotion’s return to American soil. The event is scheduled for September 6th at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

In a recent social media post, Seksan appears to be enjoying some downtime from training, and practicing with his wife. The clip showcases his wife expertly countering his attacks, proving she’s no slouch in the fighting department herself.

Seksan, a true family man, secured his family with a six-figure contract from ONE Championship last year. In an interview at that time, he emphasized the importance of having a strong support system, “The trick is taking care of yourself, training hard, and having a supportive family, which includes my sons, wife, and parents.”

He continues to exemplify this message in a recent video shared on ONE Championship’s Instagram page. The clip, titled “When the wife anticipates your actions perfectly,” humorously depicts Seksan attempting a head kick three times, with each attempt expertly dodged by his wife.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports MMA Club, Liam Harrison addressed the upcoming fight with Seksan. He emphasized it wasn’t fueled by negativity, but rather a deep respect for the Thai legend. “Everyone wants to see me and Seksan,” Harrison said. “I think that would be really amazing. Like I said before, I wanted that Seksan fight. I sort of called him out but not in hatred or disrespect, it’s been out of love and admiration. He’s been my hero for years and he will be my hero, during, before, and after that fight. I think he and I can create something really special for the fans,” he added.

Now all eyes are on Seksan, who had an eight-fight winning streak since his debut, only to face a loss in his last fight against Yutaro Asahi. Can he reclaim his winning form and begin another string of wins, starting with Liam Harrison when they collide at ONE 168? Let us know in the comments.
