Demetrious Johnson survived Round 1 and secured the win

In round 1, Rodtang clipped Demetrious Johnson early, and “Mighty Mouse” looked for a takedown. However, realizing it is a Muay Thai round, he had to pull back on his takedown. Throughout the round, Johnson appeared uncertain and tried to not use his natural grappling instinct. Although, at the last moments of the rounds, Johnson appeared to have a minor success.

In round 2, Johnson pressured Rodtang and even had the better of the Muay Thai fighter on the feet. Mighty Mouse slipped a punch from the Thai fighter and put Rodtang on the ground and took his back. Rodtang did his best to fight the hands of Johnson. However, the 12-time MMA World Champion submitted the Thai Fighter in the MMA round.

‘Mighty Mouse’ looked very content with the result. Both the fighters embraced each other after the bout.
