In the lead-up to the evening’s main event showdown, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson promised one of his best career performances as he sought redemption and the ONE Flyweight World Title against Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes.
The MMA GOAT kept his word when the two squared off, finishing the highly anticipated rematch with a genuine contender for the promotion’s best MMA knockout of 2022.

Johnson had to keep up with a game Moraes throughout the majority of the four rounds of action. The now former World Champion was dangerous from the start, and he scored a couple of threatening takedown attempts and engaged with “Mighty Mouse” in some nail-biting grappling battles.
The AMC Pankration and Evolve MMA representative came alive at the midway point of the bout, however, and found plenty of success with his rapid movement and striking. He entered the pocket at will and connected with left hooks and overhand rights.
Johnson’s aggressive approach eventually paid off in the fourth frame, when he hit Moraes with an overhand right and a flying knee to score the finish, gain the strap, and avenge his only knockout loss.

Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida continued his perfect run inside the Circle on Friday evening, making quick work of former World Title challenger Kirill Grishenko when they faced off on the main card.
The Belarusian powerhouse was set to be the biggest challenge in “Buchecha‘s” MMA journey so far. But the BJJ legend forced his opponent to tap just 64 seconds into their heavyweight duel.

Both men decided to stand in the pocket and trade heavy strikes when the action got underway. But it wasn’t long before Almeida shot in for a quick double leg takedown, which caught his rival by surprise. From there, the Brazilian tightened his vice-like grip on Grishenko’s left leg and rolled over to close any escape routes.
His latest victory pushed the 32-year-old to 4-0 in ONE, with four first-round finishes, and guaranteed that his name is unavoidable when discussing future World Title challengers.

Panpayak Jitmuangnon was thrown into the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix semifinals at the 11th hour, but he rose to the occasion in true warrior spirit against Savvas Michael and came out looking like a champion.
After flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon failed to provide a hydration sample, Panpayak was called up as a replacement with hours to go before ONE on Prime Video 1 kicked off. The Thai didn’t seem fazed by this when he met his Cypriot rival in the evening’s second semifinal bout, however.

He advanced into Michael’s range with ease and found a home for his straight lefts and roundhouse kicks, repeatedly causing problems for his opponent.
“The Baby Face Killer” couldn’t find a way to land any damaging strikes on Panpayak. When he did a gap, “The Angel Warrior” slammed huge teeps to his midsection and threw more heavy artillery downstairs.
