ONE Championship’s upcoming event, ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian, will feature a full slate of exciting bouts, and the card just got bigger after the promotion announced an updated lineup for the Friday, August 4, spectacle. The Singapore-based promotion released the latest list of bouts earlier this week, and it now features a scintillating submission grappling affair between Tye Ruotolo and Dagi Arslanaliev, as well as new opponents for Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak and Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong.

Tye Ruotolo to take on a Russian fighter in the latter’s first submission grappling match

Ruotolo has run through everyone that has come his way since his arrival in ONE last year. He has taken out MMA standouts in his three outings, including #2-ranked featherweight contender Garry Tonon, former ONE Featherweight World Champion Marat Gafurov, and reigning middleweight king Reinier de Ridder

In his upcoming outing, the Atos representative will face another dangerous mixed martial artist in #2-ranked lightweight contender Dagi Arslanaliev. The Turkish fighter is one of the most prolific finishers in The Home Of Martial Arts, and all eight of his wins have come via stoppage. He will step into his first submission grappling bout against Ruotolo with designs of exacting revenge for his friend and mentor, Gafurov.

Meanwhile, a pair of Thai stars will still get to showcase their talents on the global stage after two valiant warriors stepped in for their previously scheduled opponents.

“Supergirl” gets a replacement opponent

“Supergirl” was originally slated to face Spanish veteran Cristina Morales in an atomweight kickboxing bout, but the latter was not medically cleared to compete in time for their showdown. As a result, Morales’ compatriot, former ONE Interim Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Lara Fernandez will throw down with the young striking prodigy. Both women will be seeking their first kickboxing win in ONE, as they have primarily competed in Muay Thai in their previous outings.

Fernandez will be looking for a fresh start in a new sport after she went 1-2 in “the art of eight limbs,” while “Supergirl” will be hoping to build on the momentum she gained from her narrow defeat to Stamp Fairtex when they competed in kickboxing action earlier this year.
