ONE Friday Fight 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut continued to take shape this week, with three exciting Muay Thai bouts added. The Friday, September 27, event will be headlined by a featherweight Muay Thai tilt between ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon and Thai veteran “Smokin’” Jo Nattawut.

The event will be inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. But the card will be bolstered by new names and proven commodities before it goes down.

First of the latest additions is the return of Thai-Malaysian phenom Nabil Anane, who will take on streaking prospect Soe “Man of Steel” Lin Oo in a bantamweight bout. Anane is fresh off a victory at ONE Fight Night 24 earlier this month. The Thai-Algerian took down Brazilian brawler Felipe “Demolition Man” Lobo to earn his fourth straight win in ONE Championship and snatch his opponent’s #3-ranked contender position.

While the 6-foot-4 sensation has expressed his desire to take it one fight at a time amidst his rapid rise, but a win over Soe will make it hard for his name to be kept out of the World Title conversation.

But “Man of Steel” is on a run, and he’ll want to add to a huge scalp to it on September 27. The Myanmar star made his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 52 last February and has since collected three straight knockout victories.

His second-round stoppage over Pongsiri PK Saenchai at ONE Friday Fights 69 last month earned him a six-figure contract to perform at ONE’s marquee events, and fans can bet he’ll be out to show he deserves it in his next fight.

In the second match added, the undefeated Otis Waghorn will collide with Thai veteran Suakim Sor Jor Tongprajin in a 140-pound catchweight clash.

Waghorn was impressive in his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 67 this past June. He knocked out Kongklai Sor Sommai in the final round of their battle, and fans have been itching to see him in action again since.

Suakim will not go down easy, though. The 28-year-old has over 200 professional fights under his belt, and he is a former three-division Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion. At ONE Friday Fights 81, he’ll look to put a dent in his British foe’s unblemished record.
