Can Ayaka Miura finally clinch the title, or will she fall short again at ONE Fight Night 25?

ONE Fight Night 25 on Prime Video continues to take shape, with three additional matches announced for the card this week. The event takes place live on U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, October 4, and the new additions will add further heat to the lineup.

First, former ONE Women’s Strawweight MMA World Title challenger Ayaka “Zombie” Miura will resume her quest to earn another shot at ONE Championship gold when she meets Malaysian standout Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan in atomweight action.

The Japanese judoka moved down to the stacked division with the goal of challenging herself against fresh competition. In her first foray at ONE 165 this past January, she showed she brought her power and skill with her by dominating Itsuki Hirata.

However, Miura will be put to the test by the always-tough Radzuan in her second showing. “Shadow Cat” owns eight wins in 12 outings in ONE and has showcased incredible skill to remain among the perennial threats in the World Title race. Known for her ground game, the 26-year-old will likely be a tough challenge for Miura, who will no doubt try to utilize her judo skills to bring the action to the mats too.

In the second addition to the card, another former World Title challenger in Sinsamut “Aquaman” Klinmee will be in action opposite promotional newcomer Youssef Assouik in a lightweight Muay Thai clash.

“Aquaman” has excited ONE fans with his deadly knockout power throughout his tenure in the world’s largest martial arts organization, and he has stood with some of the best the division has to offer, including Nieky Holzken and former divisional king Regian Eersel. The Thai star is coming off a disappointing loss to Dmitry Menshikov this past May, so there’s little doubt he’ll be hungry for a win at ONE Fight Night 25.

Standing in his way is Assouik, who will be eager to make a statement in his first match in the world’s largest martial arts organization. The Dutch-Morroccan sensation currently reigns as the WMC Middleweight Muay Thai World Champion, and he has a host of other accomplishments dotted across his career.

The 29-year-old could instantly throw his name into the World Title hat if he can impress against Sinsamut. Finally, a must-watch strawweight Muay Thai battle will go down on October 4 when hometown hero Thongpoon PK Saenchai squares off with Portugal’s Rui Botelho.

The fighters may be coming off contrasting results in their last outings, but they have the same goal of climbing up the ranks of the stacked division. After three straight wins to kick off his time in ONE, Thongpoon has only won once in the following trio of bouts. Meanwhile, Botelho finally broke his four-fight skid when he took out former World Title challenger Zhang Peimian at ONE Fight Night 16 last November. Both men are known for their non-stop aggression whenever they take the stage, so their showdown is tipped to be a barnburner.
