Christian “The Warrior” Lee has secured his spot as one of the best fighters in ONE Championship.

The ONE Lightweight World Champion has laid some of the best in promotion flat on the canvas during his tenure, and at ONE on Prime Video 4 on Friday, November 18, he’ll look to do it again to score his biggest achievement yet.

That evening, Lee moves up a division to challenge Korean “Brazen” Abbasov for the ONE Welterweight World Title. And if he scores victory in the main event clash, he’ll become one of very few “double-champs” in ONE.

The dreams of Christian Lee have turned into reality

It will be his second outing of the year, following a morale-boosting win over Ok Rae Yoon to reclaim the lightweight crown. And though he wasn’t initially keen to return before the end of the year, the chance to capture a second World Title changed his mind at the flick of a switch.

Well, initially, after claiming my title back, it sounded really nice to take some time off. But an opportunity like this is really just too big of a moment to let it just pass me by,” the 24-year-old shared.

Dreams certainly do come true. With the right amount of hard work, of course.

Lee has put that in, and then some, to get where he is today, and his resume is stacked with wins against warriors like Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki, Kotetsu “No Face” Boku, Dagi Arslanaliev, and Timofey Nastyukhin. ONE has recognized the Singaporean-American’s growth and given him the right platform to become a world-renowned fighter, which is something he greatly appreciates.

I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to be fighting for the welterweight title,” the four-time ONE Lightweight World Champion said.

I’m sure there are other organizations who would want the champion to go and get a few fights in the welterweight division before going for a title. But I also feel like everything lined up well to make this super-fight happen.
