In a recent interview with ONE, the South Korean fighter expressed nothing but admiration for his fellow Team MAD member, Ham Seo Hee, in anticipation of her clash with Stamp Fairtex for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight World Championship at ONE Fight Night 14, scheduled for September 29.

Yet, when it comes to training, she invests considerable effort and pushes herself to the limit.

“I often find myself wondering, ‘Doesn’t she ever experience exhaustion from such rigorous work?’ Consequently, I feel compelled to exert even more effort to elevate my performance to the utmost level”. Ham’s relentless work ethic plays a pivotal role in her accomplishments in mixed martial arts. At 36 years old, she boasts a professional record of 26 wins and 8 losses, securing regional titles across various promotions in Asia. Now, her focus is on clinching gold within ONE.

However, standing in her path is Stamp, who aims to become the first-ever three-sport World Champion in the promotion on September 29. The Thai striker has substantiated her ability to excel in MMA, having secured 10 victories in this multifaceted discipline. She nearly dethroned long-reigning divisional queen Angela Lee in her initial bid for the World Title in March 2022.
