Jonathan Haggerty will return to action when he takes on Superlek Kiatmoo9 on September 6 in Denver, Colorado. Before his clash, he took to his YouTube channel to discuss many of his fights, including his match against Mongkolpetch Petchyindee – which turned out to be his final one at the flyweight ranks. Haggerty broke down his win over Mongkolpetch on his channel, saying: “This was probably the best round that I’ve had in ONE Championship, if I’m honest. “
He added, “Just the way that I just invade his shots. You know how fast I was getting in, don’t get hit back. Combinations I was putting together. So yeah, I’d say I’ve got pretty good hands for a Muay Thai boxer. Which I think is key now against the Thai’s. You know that’s how we’re defeating the Thai’s. Now by using the boxing. So if you got good hands, you are going to go far in ONE Championship.” Let us evaluate his upcoming fight on September 6.
