Will Liam Harrison's 'madness' be enough to take down Seksan in their explosive ONE 168 showdown?

Making a comeback after a severe injury is one of the toughest tasks for any professional fighter. However, Liam Harrison is built a bit differently. ‘Hitman’ has not only recovered from the injury but is also scheduled to appear at ONE 168: Denver. The event will be the promotion’s second event in the United States and takes place in U.S. primetime on Friday, September 6 inside Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

His opponent for the night will be the highly dangerous Thai fighter, Seksan Or Kwanmuang. Seksan has impressed one and all with exciting fighting style, but Harrison isn’t quite worried about it. Moreover, he is excited to fight him and recently shared a message from his Instagram account.

‘Hitman’ said, “To get asked to fight on ONE 168 Denver is amazing. To get asked to fight Seksan on it even better. Me and Seksan just absolutely swinging bombs at each other for three rounds. I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen in that fight. It’s going to be absolutely f..ng ridiculous.”

Harrison has had some fantastic fights against Thai fighters in the past and he is looking to add to his legend with another chapter against Seksan. “I want to come back and I want to deliver madness like the Muangthai fight. I want to deliver crazy fights like the Rodlek fight. I want to deliver highlight reel knockouts. I still think I can do that.” But why is the 38-year-old calling his fight with Rodlek crazy? Let us find out.

Liam Harrison and Rodlek PK Saenchai surprised everyone after their fight

Fans went berserk after Liam Harrison and Rodlek collided for the first time in a Muay Thai clash. The fight happened in 2019 and it is still etched into the memories of many. In his sophomore outing, the Leeds native went toe to toe with the veteran Thai fighter. Both fighters showed warrior spirit as the battle lasted for the full three rounds. ONE Championship recently paid tribute to both the fighters and shared the highlights of their battle on Instagram. After their clash, ‘Hitman’ decided to move up to the bantamweight division. While many questioned the decision, the Brit silenced everyone with his two back-to-back knockout victories.

What followed was a shot at the then-titleholder Nong-O Hama’s ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title. However, the Bad Company athlete suffered a severe leg injury during the match, rendering him unable to finish it. After successfully getting his surgery done, Harrison attempted to make a return earlier this year against John Lineker but suffered yet another injury and pulled out from the clash. But ‘Hitman’ is finally returning against a very tough competitor in Seksan. Let us take a look at his recent form at ONE.

Seksan Or Kwanmuang will prove to be a tough challenge for Liam Harrison

“The Man Who Yields To No One” is widely considered as one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of his time. Since making his promotional debut in 2023, Seksan has impressed one and all with his phenomenal fighting style. However, more than his aggressive style, it’s his consistency, which has caught the attention of many. Seksan was unbeaten in eight consecutive fights, which shows the kind of skill level the 35-year-old possesses. However, his dream run ended in his last fight against Yutaro Asahi at ONE Friday Fights 58.
