Superlek to Headline ONE Fight Night 18, Defends Kickboxing Gold Against Elias Mahmoudi

Superlek Kiatmoo9 will kick off ONE Championship?s 2024 in style on U.S. primetime. The Thai superstar is set to headline the promotion?s first blockbuster of 2024 with his latest defense of the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title.?

ONE Fight Night 18 is scheduled for Friday, January 12, and Superlek will put his coveted strap on the line against Algerian striking ace Elias Mahmoudi in the main event in the hopes of continuing the blistering form he has enjoyed this year.

Superlek Kiatmoon9 has proved his mettle multiple times

On top of capturing and defending the flyweight kickboxing gold, ?The Kicking Machine? also scored three wins in Muay Thai in 2023, with the third victory coming in arguably the biggest bout the sport has ever seen. Superlek squared off with flyweight Muay Thai king.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon was a force at ONE Friday Fights 34 in September, but Kiatmoo9 handed his legendary compatriot his first striking loss in ONE by unanimous decision. While he failed to capture ?The Iron Man?s? World Title, given that he had missed weight in the lead-up, taking out Rodtang was undoubtedly an incredible feat.?

Now riding a 10-fight win streak in the world?s largest martial arts organization, with three finishes in his last four outings, Superlek will aim to assert his dominance in the flyweight kickboxing division when he comes against Mahmoudi in January.
