Unfortunate injuries nearly deprived fans of seeing a couple of exciting fighters in action this weekend at ONE Fight Night 16. But thankfully, some world-class strikers have stepped up to take them on. As a result, Sinsamut Klinmee and Seksan Or Kwanmuang will now get new opponents for the Friday, November 3, event inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Originally slated to face Liam Nolan in a lightweight Muay Thai bout, Sinsamut will face Spanish-Morrocan striker Mouchine Chafi. This fight promises to be a competitive battle for a potential shot at the divisional crown.

Chafi is riding a five-bout winning streak and has a 31-5-2 overall record. His latest win earned him the WBC Light Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title against former ONE athlete Miles Simson. ‘The Assassin’ will now make his promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 16. This is an opportunity for him to test his skills against a former World Title challenger. Should he pick up the all-important win, he could make a strong case to challenge champion Regian Eersel.

Meanwhile, Seksan was going to welcome Johan Estupinan to the promotion. However, he will instead square off with perhaps an even tougher striker in Karim Bennoui. The fight will be in a 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle.

‘The Surgeon’ owns a 41-16-3 record and is riding a five-fight winning streak heading into his showdown with Seksan. An ISKA Kickboxing World Champion, the French-Algerian striker could make an immediate impact in his promotional debut.

Of course, Seksan wants to make his own statement in his first match on U.S. primetime. The Thai warrior won all six of his bouts at ONE Friday Fights, and he will look to carry his success over to the main roster. With the confirmation of the two late replacements, ONE Fight Night 16 will remain a 10-fight card set to feature exciting action from top to bottom.
