One of those compatriots is Petchmorakot Petchyindee, who’s putting his reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title on the line against Jimmy Vienot in the main event.
“Petchmorakot is considered very famous in the country. He is one of the top fighters in Thailand and has held quite a number of belts. He’s beaten many fighters,” the 24-year-old offered.
Indeed, the Petchyindee star boasts one of the most impressive resumes in the sport. He has a professional record of 164-35-2, two Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champions, and a WMC Muay Thai World Title to his name.
Petchmorakot has also continued that strong form since joining the promotion’s striking-only division, ONE Super Series, capturing the gold in 2020 and winning four straight bouts on the global stage.
His performances have impressed “The Iron Man,” who believes the 28-year-old can extend his winning run with his strong arsenal.
“The most dangerous weapons of Petchmorakot would be his left punch and left shin, and his elbows that he has used to knock out his opponents,” he said.
“His elbows are also sharp and dangerous. His elbows can cut his opponents or knock them out. They can’t overlook him.”
Rodtang backs Prajanchai PK.Saenchai against Joseph Lasiri at ONE 157
While he cannot point out how the 28-year-old fighter will win, Rodtang is sure that Prajanchai PK.Saenchai’s speed will be a major threat to top-ranked strawweight Muay Thai contender Joseph “The Hurricane” Lasiri.
The two battle it out in the co-main event, and he expects the defending ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion to walk out of the Circle with the gold.
“I think Prajanchai will win with his speed and because it’s under Muay Thai rules. Prajanchai is very smart. He’s smarter than his opponent,” Rodtang said.
