Roberto “Robocop” Soldic believes he will provide Murad Ramazanov with problems when they slug it out at ONE on Prime Video 5. The Croatian striker is fired up to get his tenure in ONE Championship off to a flying start, and there’s no better way for him to announce his arrival than to become the first man to defeat the undefeated Russian star.

Soldic isn’t even bothered about how he scores the victory inside the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on Friday, December 2, as long as he gets it done.

Roberto Soldic wants a win in whatever way possible

“Just win. I don’t care how. Just submission, points, KO, doesn’t matter to me. I just want to win the fight,” the 27-year-old said. Above all, he wants to back up the hype that has surrounded his arrival at the Singapore-based promotion.

Soldic enters this bout on a seven-match winning streak. He has finished 17 of his 20 wins by knockout, and his last defeat was in 2018. Understandably, plenty of martial arts enthusiasts are waiting to see how he performs inside the Circle, and Soldic is ready to give them a treat.

“People always expect KOs from me because most of my fights are finished by KO, so I guess – surprise – also submission. I have also good jiu-jitsu. I believe in it, and I just win. I see a good fight,” the UFD Gym athlete added.

Roberto Soldic credited Murad Ramazanov but also backed his own abilities

Ramazanov will be no easy fighter to deal with, however. The Dagestani grappling sensation has excelled against a variety of opponents to rack up a perfect 11-0 resume. But “Robocop” maintains his upcoming rival has yet to be tested with proper power, which he’ll deliver in spades next Friday.

“I respect him a lot, 11-0, but I can say that he never faced anybody like me. I’m like something different. I’m southpaw, I’m a very dangerous guy, and it’s not going be easy for him,” Soldic offered.

“Also, I don’t have a weight cut. It’s good for me. I feel very, very good, very strong, and I’m always on my weight. I do a good performance, a lot of power, good condition, and my mind is there.”
