Is Reug Reug the next big thing in MMA, or is Malykhin too tough to beat?

“Reug Reug” Oumar Kane is all set to challenge three-division world champion Anatoly Malykhin for the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title. This highly anticipated fight takes place on November 8th at ONE Championship’s third return to the U.S. However, before stepping into perhaps the biggest fight of his career, Kane has a crucial heavyweight kickboxing bout tomorrow against Boucher Ketchup at ONE Fight Night 23: Ok vs. Rasulov, airing July 5th on Prime Video. The fight takes place inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.

In preparation for his fights, “Reug Reug” recently shared social media posts showcasing his training with UFC middleweight contender Paulo Costa.

However, before his highly anticipated showdown with Anatoly Malykhin at ONE 169: Atlanta, ”Reug Reug” Oumar Kane has a test tomorrow. He’ll face his fellow countryman, Boucher Ketchup, who promises to knock him out. This fight serves as a crucial warm-up for Kane to stay sharp and maintain his momentum leading into the title clash.

Tomorrow is a big test for Senegalese newcomer Boucher Ketchup. He’ll be looking to earn respect in his debut fight against his countryman, “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane. Kane, a mainstay in ONE Championship since 2021, is riding a three-fight winning streak. Ketchup hopes to pull off an upset victory and gain international recognition, proving to his hometown fans that he can surpass Kane.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Boucher Ketchup highlighted his upcoming fight and sent a message to his opponent “Reug Reug,” stating, “I’m known in Senegal for the electrifying atmosphere I bring to combat sports, from the press to the faceoff up until the arena.
