Chingiz Allazov retained the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title and his status as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world when he edged out an ultra-aggressive Marat Grigorian in the evening’s main event.
Chingiz Allazov and Mikey Musumeci retained titles while Tawanchai cracked his rival
Chingiz Allazov retained the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title and his status as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world when he edged out an ultra-aggressive Marat Grigorian in the evening’s main event. “Chinga” was pushed to the limit by his rival, but he did enough to avenge his loss to the Armenian striker 10 years ago by unanimous decision.
In the co-main event, Mikey Musumeci successfully retained his ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Title by submitting Jarred Brooks. It was a valiant effort from the strawweight mixed martial arts king, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the grappling mastery of “Darth Rigatoni.” The card also featured some memorable fights that may serve to shake up their respective divisions.
Tawanchai was successful in his ONE kickboxing debut, showcasing his incredible kicking power to take out Davit Kiria. The featherweight Muay Thai titleholder unleashed a devastating kick in the third round that Kiria blocked, but the impact resulted in a broken limb for the Georgian, so the fight was stopped. He will return to Muay Thai to defend his belt against Superbon in October, but he will surely be in the hunt for a kickboxing World Title after Friday’s performance.
John Lineker, Elias Mahmoudi, and Oumar Kane also got the better of their rivals
John Lineker also made a successful return at ONE Fight Night 13, but he had to earn every bit of his win over Kim Jae Woong. The South Korean slugger gave “Hands of Stone” the business throughout the contest but got caught by a body-head combination that dropped him to the ground in the final frame. Lineker pounced on his fallen opponent from there, and the referee called a stop to the contest with just four seconds left in the round.
“Reug Reug” Oumar Kane claimed the biggest win of his career by putting an end to Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida’s undefeated streak with a unanimous decision victory in their heavyweight clash. His dominant performance earned him a US$50,000 bonus, and he took a huge step towards a World Title opportunity against Anatoly Malykhin with the hard-fought victory.

Elias Mahmoudi also took home a bonus after a one-round demolition of former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Edgar Tabares. It was Mahmoudi’s first matchup since June 2021, and it looks like he only got better and hungrier to find another win in the promotion.
