Taunting during a fight was never Nong O Hama’s style as he is humble but he is confident in his abilities. The former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion is now going to face Kiamran Nabati. The division can see the former kingpin’s quest to reclaim gold continue at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs Nattawut.
The former 145-ranked fighter will be taking on the fierce Kiamran Nabati on September 27th at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok Thailand. When he was asked about the same in an interview with the South China Morning Post, he oozed with confidence saying he is fully prepared. He declared, “I think my condition is nearly at 100%. I think in two more weeks I will be at 100% so shouldn’t be anything to worry about. And I have trained very hard, everything is good.”
Nevertheless, his opponent is pretty strong so let’s see his unbeaten run at the promotion.

After losing the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title to Jonathan Haggerty in 2023, Nong-O suffered a second consecutive loss when he fell to Nico Carillo eight months later. He rebounded with a win against the hard-hitting Kulabdam in his last outing. The 37-year-old is hoping to get another run at gold before he winds down his storied career.
For Nabati, the Russian is undefeated in 21 fights, including three consecutive wins in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
