Masaaki Noiri is going to introduce himself to the global audience very soon, as he looks to immediately make a statement in the stacked featherweight kickboxing division.
ONE Championship’s latest addition to the best striking roster on the planet is set to debut at ONE 167: Stamp vs Zamboanga on Friday, June 7. He will share the stage with #3-ranked Sitthichai Sitsonpeenong in a featherweight kickboxing match inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Noiri is a two-division K-1 World Champion and is an established star in the competitive Japanese kickboxing scene. He currently owns a 49-11 record with a dangerous 51 percent finishing rate. Through a professional career that has spanned close to two decades, he has collected belts and tournament wins in K-1, Glory, and Krush at the expense of some notable champions of the sport.

In taking his talents to the world’s largest martial arts organization, he now has a chance to claim the most prestigious belt in all of kickboxing today.His road to ONE gold – and his 50th career win – will not have an easy start by any means. The first roadblock to his rise will be the always dangerous Sitthichai.

“Killer Kid” has well over 100 wins in kickboxing and Muay Thai, with five coming in ONE. He has pushed some of the greats to their limit, including reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Chingiz “Chinga” Allazov and current interim champ Superbon.

The Thai star also has the distinction of being the only man to own a win against featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK Saenchai in the ONE banner. He will be determined to keep his place in the rankings, especially after suffering his first two-fight slide against Mohammed Siasarani and Marat Grigorian in his latest appearances.

Noiri and Sitthichai’s fight is the latest addition to what is shaping to be a blockbuster of an event in June. In the main event, Stamp Fairtex will defend her ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title against her friend and former teammate Denice Zamboanga.
The co-main event will feature Tawanchai defending the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title against Thai fireball Jo Nattawut. Also in action on the card will be ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon figuring in a kickboxing match against Denis Puric, ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion Mikey Musumeci looking for redemption against Gabriel Sousa, Liam Harrison making his highly-anticipated return to action, and Kade Ruotolo’s MMA debut.
