“I’ve been waiting my entire career for this. It’s a shame it’s coming at the back end of my career, but hopefully, I’ll get a good year or two showcasing my skills on Sky Sports. It’s also an incredible incentive for all the up-and-comers,” he said.
Recently crowned two-sport ONE World Champion Jonathan Haggerty also took to Instagram to share his excitement.
“Wow! ONE Championship broadcasting on Sky Sports! Amazing work. The whole team really are making dreams come true. I am so excited to be showcasing my skills on such a massive platform. And look who’s the face of it,” he said.

Promotional newcomer Ellis Barboza, who claimed a highlight-reel knockout in his debut at ONE Fight Night 17 earlier this month, was delighted that fans will see his sport featured on such a well-known broadcaster.
“Being part of ONE Championship just ahead of their collaboration with Sky Sports is beyond my wildest dreams. Sky, the powerhouse sports network, holds a special place in the U.K., my home country. It’s truly surreal to witness Muay Thai reach this global stage, providing us fighters with a golden opportunity for genuine global recognition in the spotlight,” he said.

And in an interview with SCMP MMA, second-generation striking standout Amber Kitchen was optimistic that the news opens up the possibility of ONE mounting an event in the UK in the near future.
“The Sky Sports deal is huge for the sport. I can’t wait to see where it goes. Wembley would be a dream come true, and there are so many talented fighters out of the UK. To have it in England with all the local supporters, the crowd would be an amazing atmosphere,” she said.
