Muay Thai royalty from opposite ends of the globe are set to collide in a highly anticipated match that the world needs to see. At ONE 168: Denver on Friday, September 6, Liam “Hitman” Harrison will take on “The Man Who Yields To No One” Seksan Or. Kwanmuang in a 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
Pitting together two all-action legends of the sport adds further hype to the already immensely stacked card, meaning ONE Championship’s return to the U.S. is guaranteed to be a barnburner.

Seksan collected multiple titles, including the Rajadamnern and the WBC Muay Thai World Championship, before he made his way to the world’s largest martial arts organization. Upon his arrival in January 2023, he immediately began to deliver one highlight-reel fight after the other, amassing eight wins in as many fights to ensure that everyone knew his name.

The 35-year-old looked to be unstoppable until he stepped into action against promotional newcomer Yutaro Asahi at ONE Friday Fights 58 earlier this month. The pair put on a thrilling contest, but Seksan fell to a unanimous decision loss in the end. That should only fire the Thai veteran up to come back strong against Harrison in September, however, and he’ll need all the drive he can get.

“Hitman” is one of the most prolific strikers to ever come out of the United Kingdom. He has over 100 bouts to his name and has competed against some of the most elite fighters in the game.
Liam Harrison vs. Seksan at ONE: Denver
Like Seksan, Harrison is not afraid to move forward and go toe-to-toe with anyone who stands opposite him, as was evident in his 2022 Muay Thai Fight of the Year-winning performance against “Elbow Zombie” Muangthai PK Saenchai at ONE 156. The Bad Company standout was dropped twice early in the opening round, but he stormed back to score three knockdowns of his own before the frame finished.

Unfortunately, that never-back-down attitude led to Harrison’s downfall four months later, when he challenged former bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama at ONE on Prime Video 1. He suffered a devastating knee injury thanks to a kick thrown by the Thai powerhouse, and he has been on the sidelines ever since. The 38-year-old is currently busy preparing for his comeback fight against Katsuki Kitano at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga on June 7, but, knowing his career is on the downswing, he has been vocal about taking on legends like Seksan before hanging up his gloves for good.
“Hitman” has now got his wish, and the watching world will be the real winner when it gets to watch these two titans of Muay Thai throw down at ONE: Denver in September. The blockbuster event is filling up with monumental pairings, so stay tuned for more details on other matches in the coming weeks and months.
