Russian striker Kiamran Nabati already has two wins under his belt in the ONE Friday Fights series, and he is looking to work up to the promotion’s biggest stage in his upcoming outing.

On Friday, June 28, Nabati will have more eyes on him than ever before in ONE Championship when he takes on Suablack Tor Pran49 in a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown on the massive ONE Friday Fights 68: Prajanchai vs. Di Bella card inside the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Archangel Michael standout knocked out Suablack when they fought at a regional show in Russia last year, but the Thai has remained undefeated across six appearances in the world’s largest martial arts organization since then.

As a result, he earned a US$100,000 contract with ONE, and Nabati plans to show the world he deserves the same thing when they rematch.

“This will be an interesting, exciting fight. He wants to get revenge on me, and I want to take his contract away from him, so it will be an uncompromising fight. It’s not just a fight between two fighters who will go into the ring, but two fighters who have a history, who have already met once before, and I knocked him out then,” he told ONE in an interview.

“I think he has a sense of revenge that he wants to fulfill. But I’m not going to let him do that, I’m going to take away what belongs to him – his contract, his glory. That’s what I’m going for. That’s what makes him interesting to me, what he has and what should be mine.”

Suablack ran through the competition in ONE Friday Fights, collecting four straight knockout wins in the span of seven months.

His six-figure deal with ONE then allowed him the chance to fight on the promotion’s U.S. primetime cards, where he collected two more wins, including his snapping of Vladimir Kuzmin’s two-fight win streak at ONE Fight Night 21 last April.

For his part, Nabati has been dominant against two notable Thai opponents so far. He outlasted Pongsiri PK Saenchai in his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 35 last September and followed up by ending Avatar PK Saenchai’s four-fight win streak at ONE Friday Fights 55 this past March.

The 29-year-old knows Suablack will be out for redemption this weekend, so he wants to put him down a second time to take the wind out of his sails and prove he is worthy to stand on ONE’s highest peak.
