The ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title will be on the line at the upcoming event in Denver, Colorado. Two of the biggest names in the sport will look to settle their differences once and for all. Both fighters have had a bit of history in the past after they collided with each other at Yokkao 31 & 32. In that event, Haggerty was deemed unable to continue after the doctors ruled him out of the fight because of a massive cut over his eye. However, things have changed a lot since then for both ‘The General’ and ‘The Kicking Machine’.

Both fighters have defeated some of the biggest names in their respective divisions and are high on confidence. However, there is a lot of mutual respect between them. ONE Friday Nights 72 witnessed an epic face-off between the contenders after they collided with each other before their fight. Unlike most face-offs, this one particularly was a bit subdued. Talking about mutual respect, Haggerty said during an interview, “Superlek is one of the greatest fighters of this time. It motivates me more to get up and train.”

This statement came after the Thai champ described the 27-year-old as one of the best in the sport. While both fighters are not indulging in any kind of trash-talking, they are indeed putting in the hard yards in training. But how exactly is the 27-year-old training? Let us find out.
