A battle between two World Champions has been added to an upcoming ONE Championship event, and it’s shaping up to be a massive card.
On Friday, April 5, ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Di Bella will put his belt on the line against strawweight Muay Thai king Prajanchai PK Saenchai at ONE Friday Fights 58 inside Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The pivotal matchup will bolster the already thrilling lineup, which features Superbon Singha Mawynn and Marat Grigorian squaring off for the ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Title, and former bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama’s return to action against his hard-hitting compatriot, Kulabdam Sir Jor Piek Uthai.
Di Bella has been spectacular in his run in the world’s largest martial arts organization so far. He won the vacant strawweight kickboxing strap by defeating Chinese star Zhang Peimian in his very first bout in October 2022 and went on to defend it against the always-tough Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 15 last October.
At 12-0, the Italian-Canadian striker has amassed an abundance of lessons in his career. And he’ll need every one of them when he steps into action against his upcoming opponent–a veteran of nearly 400 fights.
Prajanchai has earned his place among Thailand’s most elite strikers through multiple World Title wins in–fabled Thai striking venues–Lumpinee Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium.
Like Di Bella, the striking star won his World Title in his ONE Championship debut, taking out the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao at ONE: BATTLEGROUND in July 2021.

His sole loss in the organization came the following May when he dropped the strawweight Muay Thai crown to Joseph Lasiri. But he managed to redeem himself against the Italian and reclaim the gold in their rematch at ONE Friday Fights 46 last December.

Now back on top, Prajanchai gets to shoot for two-sport glory against Di Bella on April 5. And if his impressive kickboxing display against Akram Hamidi at ONE Friday Fights 34 in September 2023 is anything to go by, the defending king will have a tough fight on his hands–and the fans are in for a barnburner in Bangkok.
