Amidst a slew of unmissable women’s matchups at ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham, a high-stakes men’s bantamweight MMA match will add even more excitement to the card.
Former ONE Bantamweight World Champion and top divisional contender John Lineker is set for a quick turnaround against #2-ranked Stephen Loman at the September 29 event, with the winner potentially solidifying a showdown against reigning king Fabricio Andrade.

“Hands Of Stone” is fresh off a come-from-behind knockout victory against a hard-hitting Kim Jae Woong at ONE Fight Night 13 earlier this month, and that win has fueled him to stay active in the hopes of getting right back into the World Title mix. The Brazilian veteran will face a significant challenge in his next outing, however. Loman is undefeated through three fights in the world’s largest martial arts organization, and he was widely rumored to be first in line to challenge Andrade’s belt – especially after his dominant showing against former longtime king Bibiano Fernandes last November.
A clash with Lineker may be a bit of a swerve for the Filipino sensation, but should he overcome “Hands of Stone,” no one will be able to deny him a World Title opportunity. For his part, Andrade is currently busy preparing for his shot at two-sport glory. “Wonder Boy” is set to take on bantamweight Muay Thai king Jonathan Haggerty for the vacant ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship at ONE Fight Night 15 on Friday, October 6.

Both Andrade and Haggerty have expressed their desire to collect all the bantamweight gold in ONE, and the victor of their bout will take a big step toward that goal. Regardless of the outcome of that match, it’s difficult to imagine Andrade turning down a challenge from either Loman or Lineker when he makes his way back to MMA.
A trilogy between the Brazilian Bantamweights
In recent interviews, “Wonder Boy” has claimed that he wants to move on from Lineker after handing his Brazilian compatriot two dominant beatings across both of their meetings.

He has also shot down any chance that Loman might have against him, saying the Team Lakay standout has remained undefeated because he’s only faced fighters past their prime. Fans can, undoubtedly, expect Andrade to back up his words as soon as a clear challenger to his crown emerges at ONE Fight Night 14.
