In a recent interview with Sportskeeda MMA, “The Monkey God” warned Gustavo Balart, stating he would “squeeze” him. “He [Gustavo Balart] has never been held in a fight like,” Brooks added. “I will hold you there, and keep your little a** there. I’m gonna squeeze you down and hold you there.” This warning shows that Jarred Brooks is determined to get back on top of the division once again.

However, defeating Balart isn’t Jarred Brooks’ sole goal. After losing his title to Joshua Pacio earlier this year because of an illegal slam, he is now focused on reclaiming his lost reputation.
