Adrian Lee is heading into his first professional MMA fight with the full support of his fabled family.

The youngest of the Lee family will make his ONE Championship debut at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut on Friday, June 7, where he will clash with Antonio Mammarella in a lightweight battle inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lee is in a unique position entering the world’s largest martial arts organization, as he has had two family members grab ONE gold already. His sister, Angela, held the women’s atomweight MMA crown from its inception until her retirement last year, and his brother, Christian, is the reigning king of the lightweight and welterweight MMA ranks.

Their success has allowed him to become comfortable with the inner workings of the promotion, and he’s been lucky to get advice and support from both of them throughout his journey.

“All these big tournaments, they’re always the most nerve-wracking thing ever. But luckily, I’ve had all my siblings who’ve gone through it already, so I’ve always had their support on all of it,” Lee told ONE Championship in an interview.

“My brother, he’s been here with me every step of the way, and the main thing he tells me is to stay focused on the goal and don’t let anything distract you.

“Angela told me a little bit about staying mentally sound, to make sure that you keep your mental health and physical health in check.”

Along with Angela and Christian, Lee’s sister Victoria was also becoming a star in ONE Championship before her tragic death in late 2022.

Like the rest of the family, the young up-and-comer was heavily affected by the loss, especially given they shared a special bond.

Lee continues to hold admiration for his sister, and he wants to honor her memory as he embarks on his professional journey.

“Me and my sister were very close. And since we were close in age, we did everything together,” he said.

“One quality I admired about her would probably be her determination. She was very goal-orientated and very determined and focused.”
