Therefore, fans and fighters are of the opinion that their pivotal welterweight showdown at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III, scheduled to go down at 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado, on May 5, is going to be a nail-biting affair from start to finish.

Roberto Soldic feels he has enough to destroy fighters like Zebaztian Kadestam

Soldic is just as excited, and he has spent the last couple of months sharpening his tools to prepare for his sophomore outing in ONE. At the same time, the 28-year-old has watched clips of his Swedish foe in action to ensure he is fully set for everything that could be thrown at him. And, overall, he hasn’t been impressed.

Speaking to ONE Championship, “Robocop” said, “He is a ‘kill-or-be-killed’ type of guy. It’s not good for him if he does this with me. If he stands a lot with me, that will be a big problem [for him]. I’m a complete fighter. I can do everything. I always plan to keep moving forward and destroy these guys [in front of me].

Soldic’s points are well observed. Kadestam’s style of dropping his guard in search of a match-winning strike has proved to be his undoing in the past and has seen him fall to the likes of Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov, Gadzhimurad Abdullaev, and Murad Ramazanov.

But when things go his way, he loves to let his fists take center stage, as seen in each of his wins in the Circle, which have all come via knockout.

Roberto Soldic is satisfied with his preparation with an emphasis on grappling

Soldic is confident he’ll be able to handle “The Bandit’s” weapons of choice, but he has also been fine-tuning his grappling ahead of ONE Fight Night 10. After all, he doesn’t want to leave himself open on the canvas if Kadestam decides to switch his approach and go for a submission.

He added, “It doesn’t matter. Maybe he’s going to try to take me down. You never know. Maybe he wants to surprise me. It’s an MMA fight, but I fought with wrestlers and grapplers in my entire career. They always try to take me down. Whoever stands with me will have a big problem.”
