Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam knows there’s only one way for him to earn another shot at the ONE Welterweight World Title – by impressing every time he steps inside the Circle.

The former divisional king has repeatedly excited audiences with his hard-hitting style, and he’ll be hoping to do the same when he steps into the Circle opposite Roberto “Robocop” Soldic at ONE Championship’s debut live show in the U.S., ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video, on May 5.

His upcoming battle will mark Kadestam’s 11th promotional appearance, making him one of the most experienced members in the welterweight division. And he wants to show American fans what he can do while up close and personal for the first time. He told ONE Championship: “I’ve never fought in America. I’ve never even been to America. This is going to be really cool. I’ve been wanting to go to America for a long time.”

“I’ve been on the first Prime Video show, and now I’m on the first U.S. show. I’m happy that I get the opportunity to be on the bigger cards. I think my style suits me well for entertainment if they match me well, and that’s what I’m about. It’s not only about winning. It’s about putting on a good show.”

‘The Bandit’ claims his upcoming fight will be the best welterweight bout in history

Needless to say, the Swedish slugger knows how to entertain a crowd, and his attacking style has helped him become a fan favorite in the Singapore-based promotion. Kadestam knows “Robocop” will be a fierce contest and that he boasts a dangerous level of skill in every area of mixed martial arts. But that motivates him to pass his upcoming test with flying colors and slow the hype train of one of the most promising up-and-comers in the all-encompassing sport.

“This is going to be crazy, I promise you that. Man, if nobody is going to sleep in this one, I’ll be disappointed. I get chills when I think about it.”
