Andrade contests for John “Hands of Stone” Lineker‘s ONE Bantamweight World Title in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 3, inside the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It will be his sixth appearance at the Singapore-based promotion, and he’s hoping to maintain that perfect streak to earn his first MMA World Title.

Fabricio Andrade is in excellent spirits ahead of the title fight

“I believe I’m entering my peak–not only as a fighter but also outside the cage. The way I’ve been behaving, the discipline I’ve been having in relation to diet, the mental part, and training,” the Tiger Muay Thai martial artist said.

“Everything I’ve done has shown that I’m 100 percent focused on being the best version of myself.”

Case in point, Andrade arrived in ONE Championship with a 3-2 record and a heavy-striking style with plenty of room for growth in the grappling department.

However, all fractions of his game have significantly improved over the past three years. Though his knockout power is the most obvious development, he has displayed better tricks to defend takedowns, play the game in the clinch, and an ability to come out on top on the mats.

All these traits could become important tools as he looks to pick up the ONE Bantamweight World Title in Malaysia. However, Andrade believes that the learning never stops, and he wants to continue evolving into one of the world’s best whether he has the divisional gold or otherwise.

“When you’re doing everything right, that’s when you hit the next level. And that’s what’s happening to me. I’m entering my prime now, but I believe that if I keep doing what I’m doing, I’m still going to grow a lot,” he warned.

“I have a lot [of room] to grow and improve in the sport. There’s always room for improvement, so I believe I’m still going to get better than I am now.”
