Adrian Lee is planning for a huge year ahead, and it all starts next weekend.

On Friday, June 7, the youngest of the famed Lee family will compete in his first professional MMA match opposite Antonio Mammarella in a lightweight MMA encounter at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

His older siblings, Angela, Christian, and the late Victoria, all strung a series of victories together when they kicked off their tenures in ONE Championship, and he hopes to do the same after he takes care of business in his debut.

Adrian Lee is ready to take up two more fights after ONE 167

In an interview with ONE, Lee revealed that he is targeting more fights before the end of 2024 – and even more next year.

“After this fight, I plan on being very frequent, hopefully getting in another one or two fights this year and a few fights next year,” he said.

The 18-year-old wants to showcase his talents on a huge stage, and the bigger the spotlight, the better for him.

With ONE Championship returning to the United States later this year, Lee is enthused at the prospect of the promotion further expanding its popularity in the country, as it could open up more opportunities for future events.

“I think it’s great that ONE is coming over to the U.S. again, and I’m excited to see how they’re going to do,” he said.

“I would love to compete on a show in Hawaii. I don’t know if ONE will ever be able to come to Hawaii, but if so, I’d love to be able to compete in front of my friends and family.”

Are ONE 168 and ONE 169 the next stops for Lee?

After a widely successful debut show at ONE Fight Night 10 in May last year, the world’s largest martial arts organization will land in Denver, Colorado’s Ball Arena for ONE 168: Denver on September 7.

ONE’s official website also lists ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8, though no details have been confirmed for that event.

If Lee can impress in his debut at ONE 167 next Friday, he could put himself in line to appear at one or both of the shows on his home soil, which would push his stock further in the promotion and the U.S. martial arts scene at large.
