ONE Championship star Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak is out to prove her skills in the ring. Her next fight is against an opponent that she has prepared for multiple times already. At ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs Andrade on Friday, November 3, the young Thai striker will finally meet Cristina Morales in the middle of the ring. This atomweight kickboxing showdown will take place inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

‘Supergirl’ is looking forward to going toe-to-toe with Morales as they have been slated to meet on two occasions. However, injuries prevented them from fighting both times. The 19-year-old is especially excited to fight the Spanish striker because she once shared the ring with one of her heroes.

“My fight with Cristina Morales was postponed twice, but I’m not upset at all. I just really want to fight her soon. She fought with Anissa Meksen, who is one of my idols, so fighting her will be a good test of my skills,” Jaroonsak told ONE in an interview.

“From what I’ve studied, I think she’s more like a boxer. Most of the time, she focuses on punching. Her strength is also her weakness because she only depends on her hands. She rarely kicks or uses other tricks. If I can use my other weapons mixed with punches, I will surely dominate her.”

Cristina Morales has over 50 bouts under her belt, Moreover, she has two successful ISKA Atomweight K1 World Championship defenses. Further, the fighter joined the world’s largest martial arts organization with a ton of expectations. Unfortunately, she was outclassed by Meksen in her promotional debut at ONE: Empower in September 2021.

Anna Jaroonsak has a message for her opponent

Cristina Morales will undoubtedly be motivated to bounce back in a big way by taking on a bright young talent like Supergirl this weekend. Also, this gives Jaroonsak extra motivation to put on a show when they meet.

“Finally, our paths collide. This time, we will fight to our fullest. I hope each of us will come to the ring at 100 percent. See you in the ring!”
