Filipino sensation Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang is doing everything in his power to ensure he can pick up his third consecutive win when he squares off with “Mini T” Danial Williams in a high-stakes strawweight MMA tilt at ONE Fight Night 19: Haggerty vs. Lobo on Prime Video.
The two striking specialists will throw down live in U.S. primetime this Friday, February 16 at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

After suffering a devastating knee injury that kept him on the sidelines for much of 2022 and 2023, Adiwang has since roared back to top form, reeling off impressive victories over talented finisher Adrian Mattheis and perennial tough out Jeremy Miado.
The 30-year-old knows that if he can keep this winning streak alive against Williams, he’s likely to find himself in the talent-rich strawweight MMA top-five rankings. With so much on the line, “Thunder Kid” is making sacrifices and putting himself through the hardest training camp away from his native Philippines at Indonesia’s famed SOMA Fight Club.
“All these things that I’m doing, being away from my family and my friends, all the hard work I’m putting in, getting beat up every day here in SOMA, that’s my motivation to step up my game further,” Adiwang explained. Renowned for his dynamic striking game and shocking power, Adiwang boasts eight knockout victories, five of which have come in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
For his part, Williams is a supremely dangerous striker in his own right. The Thai-Australian fan-favorite is a former WMC Muay Thai World Champion and has faced some of the planet’s top pound-for-pound stand-up fighters in ONE.
Given his foe’s prodigious talents and elite-level experience, Adiwang is leaving nothing to chance in his preparations and pushing himself to the absolute limit.

“There are times wherein I get so tired in training, and I can’t even finish the round anymore, but I know I have to push hard because my opponent won’t make it any easier for me. I always think that if I’m gonna give up in training, I can forget about winning the fight.”
“I really need to suffer in this camp. I have to tough it out because once I stand across from Williams and look him in the eye, I will know that I have to destroy him because he’s the reason I suffered so much in training,” said Adiwang.
