One of the biggest attractions of the night is the return of American Sensation Luke Lessei for a featherweight clash against Bampara Kouyate. Before his upcoming bout, the 28-year-old seemed super relaxed as he shared his love for FIFA and Tottenham Hotspur in a recent video on Instagram.

ONE Fight Night 23: Ok vs Rasulov features some of the biggest names in the sport. However, the event also marks the return of American sensation Luke Lessei. The 28-year-old will take on decorated French striker Bampara Kouyate in a featherweight Muay Thai clash. Lessei is currently sitting at the #5 spot in the division after two brilliant performances in ONE.

He is a master technician and is known for his dynamic and unorthodox combinations, along with his crafty counter-strikes, which make it tough for his opponents to close the distance. He also uses a very deep and intelligent approach to Muay Thai, which makes him a fan favorite. However, he will have his work cut out against the 29-year-old Kouyate. 

Kouyate is a WMC Muay Thai, European Champion, and a French National Muay Thai Champion as well. The Frenchman came to the world’s largest martial arts organization with an impressive record of 33-2. He is also considered one of the most respected strikers in Europe. However, he fell short against Iraq’s Shakir Al-Tekreeti in a 174.5-pound catchweight Muay Thai action at ONE Fight Night 15 last October. The 29-year-old will now take on Lessei at his natural weight class and the fans will be up for action at ONE Fight Night:23 Ok vs Rasulov.

Former lightweight champion Ok Rae Yoon and undefeated newcomer Alibeg Rasulov will headline the main event on July 5. The pair will clash for the ONE Interim Lightweight MMA World Title in an exciting matchup. The event will take place at the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Fans can witness the event live on U.S. primetime on Prime Video on Friday, July 5 at 8 a.m. EDT (Saturday, July 6 at 8 a.m. SGT, 7 a.m. ICT). Some other big names to feature at the event are Tye Ruotolo and teenage sensation Jozef Chen. 

The Bantamweight Muay Thai clash between Nico Carrillo and Saemapetch is all set to entertain the fans as well. Senegalese sensation “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane will also feature in the event and face Boucher Ketchup in a kickboxing bout. Malaysian prodigy Aliff Sor Dechapan will take on 24-year-old Ellis Badr Barboza. Finally, the flyweight division will feature Black Panther taking on Russian Ali Saldoev.
