When Stephen “The Sniper” Loman squares off with John “Hands of Stone” Lineker this Friday, September 29, at ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham on Prime Video, he knows he’ll be facing one of MMA’s most feared brawlers.

Loman says that his movement-based approach to striking will serve him well against the hard-charging Lineker: “Our style, which relies a lot on movement, is an effective way to strike as long as we have a tight guard and can absorb shots well. If I do that, then I will have an effective style against Lineker because as you move and hit your opponent, you gain points. And if we connect squarely, we can even get a knockout. “It’s really a great style to use because I move a lot while creating angles.”

Loman is looking for a standup battle against John Lineker

No matter the style matchup, the Filipino star knows he’ll need to be in top form against Lineker. The former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion, “Hands of Stone,” owns an incredible 18 career knockouts, four of which have come inside ONE Championship.
