Riding high after his recent victory over longtime rival Gabriel Sousa in a bantamweight submission grappling match at ONE 167 earlier this month, New Jersey native Mikey Musumeci made an appearance on Fox 5’s Good Day New York. Hosted by Rosanna Scotto and Curt Menefee, the show regularly features news, traffic, weather, and some live interviews with notable people in various industries.

On the show, Mikey Musumeci revealed to the hosts that he follows a unique diet, eating just once a day after training. This massive meal typically includes pizza and his beloved rigatoni pasta. He expressed his love for pesto, saying, “You can’t get sick of pesto … I learned it from my friend from Italy, and it’s my favorite. It’s really easy to make. It’s very simple. So I finish training, all-day training, 24 hours, and then I’ll eat this.

This unique diet surprised many viewers, but it works for “Darth Rigatoni.” Musumeci thrives on his massive post-training meals and pasta is a regular feature in his meal. He recently shared a photo of himself enjoying pizza at a Brooklyn restaurant.
