Tawanchai maintained a strict routine to be better physically
Speaking at ONE Media Day, he said, “For this fight, I have been focusing on my strength. So, of course, sports science is applied, and also I do weight training. My diet has been really good. So there’s nothing to worry about.” As a testament to his intense camp over the past couple of months, Tawanchai admits he’s in the best shape of his career–both mentally and physically.
He added, “I feel like, right now, I am more physically fit. I am stronger; my strength has increased. And also, the training period for this fight is much longer. And I did a lot of training. My physique and mentality are much better than the last fight.”

However, Tawanchai rather not enter this bout with his nose held up high. Yusupov, after all, is a proven warrior. And his lengthy career, which features huge victories over elite strikers, hasn’t gone unnoticed by the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion.
Tawanchai stated, “The strengths of Jamal are he’s a heavy hitter, and his footwork is excellent. I have already prepared to take care of this, and let’s see it in the ring. I will never underestimate my opponent, so I have prepared myself well.
