The main event of ONE Fight Night 14 on Prime Video will feature former ONE Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex squaring off against South Korean veteran Ham Seo Hee for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title.

At just 25 years old, the Thai superstar already possesses a wealth of professional fight experience, including over 80 stand-up bouts and 12 MMA battles. With such extensive experience, it’s no surprise that Stamp can analyze the ins and outs of “Hamzzang’s” well-rounded game. While she acknowledges Ham for her combination of strikes with takedowns and crafty footwork, Stamp believes her Muay Thai-based arsenal and killer instinct will lead her to victory on Friday night.

The former two-sport queen stated: “Ham’s strength lies in her precise left hand. She consistently follows her punches with a takedown or body lock. Her weakness? I believe she still hesitates to finish her opponent. She lacks decisiveness. She hails from kickboxing, and I come from Muay Thai, which means her footwork might be better than mine, but I have a wider array of weapons at my disposal. I possess punches, kicks, knees, and elbows.”I think I may excel over her with close combat weapons. If she exposes an opening, I might be able to finish her off with an elbow.”

Given her remarkable achievements in the world of striking, Stamp anticipates that Ham will attempt to take the fight to the canvas. Naturally, the Thai phenom will devote considerable energy to defending against takedowns: “I believe her game plan involves striking me and then attempting to take me down to the ground. I will focus on my striking and do my utmost to remain on my feet and avoid her takedown attempts.”

The Thai striking sensation is eyeing a three-sport glory in the upcoming fight

Ultimately, Stamp aspires to achieve three-sport glory, halt Ham’s nine-fight winning streak, and, ideally, become the first woman since 2011 to secure a stoppage victory over the South Korean fighter. A US$50,000 performance bonus, she states, would merely be the icing on the cake:

“If possible, I aim to win by KO because I hope to earn a bonus as well. I want everyone to see me as the one who can knock Ham out. “But, in reality, Ham is exceptionally tough. I believe I might secure a victory by decision.”
