Felipe “Demolition Man” Lobo is ready to test the chin of two-sport ONE World Champion Jonathan “The General” Haggerty.

On Friday, February 16, in the main event of ONE Fight Night 19 on Prime Video, the Brazilian knockout artist will challenge Haggerty for his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title in a matchup that has struck enthusiasts anxious with anticipation.

That five-round battle is set to go down live in North American Primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

A veteran of 30 professional fights and a former Brazilian Muay Thai Champion, Lobo is now just days away from the biggest opportunity of his career – the chance to take out one of the planet’s best pound-for-pound strikers and earn 26 pounds of gold.

Understandably, “Demolition Man” has done his homework on the titleholder.

He was quick to praise Haggerty for his high-volume attack and movement:

“He knows how to use his boxing very well. He moves forward all the time and kicks very well. Furthermore, he has good feints that I need to pay attention to so as not to be surprised. But I believe his strong point is his speed. He moves very well.”

But as much as “The General” brings to the table offensively, Lobo said his defense is suspect:

“And his weak point is that he can’t take many hits. He’s very good at hitting, but when it comes to defending himself, protecting himself, he’s not so good.”

Who will win the fight on February 16th?

Despite the Brit’s reign of terror that’s seen him win five in a row, including back-to-back World Title victories in his most recent appearances, Haggerty has previously tasted defeat twice in ONE, giving Lobo a glimpse of how he might defeat him.

Ultimately, the Brazilian is well aware of his opponent’s versatile and dynamic game. To that end, he’s ready for any and all scenarios on February 16 and is confident he can get the job done inside the distance.

Lobo added: “Like I said, I think there will be a lot of striking in this fight. I’m preparing myself for everything, walking backward, moving forwards, to suppress, but I keep in mind that I can’t let him get comfortable in the fight.
