Ahead of the thrilling event, the 18-year-old star spoke with ONE and shared some thoughts about his upcoming opponent.“I got a chance to watch [his pro debut] fight. He was pretty decent in striking and wrestling, and I think those would probably be his strengths,” Lee said. Mammarella is also a relative newcomer to the MMA, with only a 1-0 professional record. However, he established himself as one of the best up-and-coming fighters in Italy across 15 amateur fights.

Lee may not have much tape to go through to fully grasp his opponent’s capabilities, but he’s planning for a quick finish no matter what he comes up against.“Of course, the ideal scenario would first off just be to finish as fast as possible in round one, either by TKO or submission, whatever comes first,” he said. He further added, “However, my main goal is just to get out there, win, and finish.”
Background and Training Analysis by Lee
Though this may be his first professional fight, the United MMA athlete has won various tournaments in the amateur ranks and has enjoyed success in kickboxing, grappling, and MMA.

He also has the benefit of having trained under the wing of his brother, two-division ONE World Champion Christian Lee, for most of his life. The youngest of the famed Lee family also got to watch his sister, former ONE atomweight MMA queen Angela Lee, rise to prominence. Adrian may be coming in as one of the most well-prepared newcomers ONE Championship has ever seen, but Mammarella will be out to spoil his party.
The 24-year-old moved from his home in Italy to Australia to seek better competition, and he’ll find it in ONE’s stacked lightweight MMA division if he can impress on debut against his much-heralded opponent.
