Two-sport ONE Bantamweight World Champion Jonathan Haggerty never backs down from any challenges. This will not be the first time the 27-year-old will be defending his title. ‘The General’ won the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Title after defeating Nong-O Hama at ONE Fight Night 9 in April 22. Last February, he successfully defended his belt against Felipe Lobo at ONE Fight Night 19. Superlek, on the other hand, holds the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion title. “The Kicking Machine” is now moving up a weight class to challenge Haggerty for the title.

Both fighters have had a bit of history in the past and Superlek has managed to beat him in their previous outing. Haggerty is now desperate to avenge his previous loss where the fight ended because of a doctor’s stoppage. The battle has already been fired up after the pair made a special appearance at ONE Friday Fights 72 on July 26. The Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand was the venue for the event and it witnessed both the fighters ending up in an intense face-off.

The promotion published the video on their Instagram page, much to the excitement of the fans. Both fighters looked to intimidate each other and tried to gain an upper hand in the clash. However, it seems the champion is unfazed by the challenger as he is looking to get a victory in the clash.
