Adrian Lee is focused on continuing the legacy his family has started in the ONE Championship. Lee will be making his professional MMA debut on Friday, June 7, as he takes on Antonio Mammarella in a lightweight MMA clash at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lee will be the fourth fighter in the family to compete in the world’s largest martial arts organization, and he comes in with a ton of pressure and expectations considering the reputation his siblings have built.

While it will only be his first professional MMA match, the 18-year-old believes his solid run in the amateur ranks, as well as his training, have prepared him to handle in-ring pressure, while his family has helped him deal with other non-fight-related obligations.

“Of course, all the competition that I’ve had previous to this are all things that will help me handle the pressure. But, I just believe in my training and when the time comes, I’ll be ready for it,” he told ONE in an interview.

“For the interviews, I’m practicing with my family and I’m getting my advice from them too, so I’ll be ready.” His oldest sister, Angela Lee, arrived in style with a first-round submission win over Aya Saied Saber at ONE: WARRIOR’S QUEST in May 2015. His older brother, Christian Lee, soon followed with a first-round knockout victory against David Meak at ONE: SPIRIT OF CHAMPIONS.

Meanwhile, the late Victoria Lee found her submission victory in the second round of her encounter with Sunisa Srisen at ONE: FISTS OF FURY back in February 2021. Now that his time has come to showcase his talents, Lee is fully focused on the end goal of taking a quick win with the least amount of damage.

To do this, he says he has been honing his all-around skills in the ring and is not getting caught up by all the media attention he is getting. “During this camp, we’ve been practically focused on everything, but the main thing we’ve been focused on is just how to get the job finished as soon as possible,” he said. He further added, “I’m not really too focused on getting these highlights or all that media stuff, just the fastest way to get it done.”
